Patricia Berliner, CSJ, Ph.D., is a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Brentwood, NY and a licensed psychologist in private practice, specializing in individual psychotherapy with adults. She earned a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from New York University.  She has had wonderful opportunities to learn about people as a teacher at the junior high school level, counselor at the high school and university levels, coordinator of religious education, medical expert at a diocesan Marriage Tribunal, Clinical Coordinator at a community mental health center.

She is co-founder and Program Director of “Elizabeth’s House,” a center of welcome and hospitality in Rockaway Park, NY. She is the co-founder of Women for a New World, an interdisciplinary team of women offering holistic, wellness oriented programs since 1975.
