The late James B. Ashbrook was Professor of Religion and Personality at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary at the time of his death. He held the Ph.D. from Ohio State University in psychology and was previously Professor of Psychology and Theology at Colgate Rochester Theological Seminary. In later years, he was Professor of Research Psychology and Theology at the Graduate Theological Foundation. The author of several books including The Human Mind and the Mind of God, his latest book combined brain research and pastoral care and is entitled, The Brain and Belief.
